VIMA is a registered Non-Government Organization founded and registered in July 2004 to respond to the plight of Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Kenya. VIMA supports children mainly from the slums and the rural areas of Kisumu. Most of the OVC are due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic while others have very poor background to afford any meaningful life. Currently, we are supporting 70 children aged between 4 to 16 years. The support includes education, health, nutrition and psychosocial spheres; the organization has also initiated a center for Early Childhood Development to assist poor children who cannot access learning institution at that tender age owing to the high school fees.

This quarter, VIMA received two major visits that saw some vulnerable children see hope in their lives.
